    mp3 players with LINE-IN

so a couple years ago i got the iRiver h320. and it has certainly been a great investment.
recently it slipped out of my hand and fell on the ground, mind you it was only about an 18 inch drop since i was sitting down. i noticed immediately that the battery would no longer hold a charge for 6-8 hours like it did before. instead it dies in about 15 minutes, after being fully charged. talk about ghey. i'm looking at getting a new one, but after an hour of research online, it's proving to be a tough find. yes i checked ebay and googled 'iRiver' and even the licensed sellers of this product dont have it. i found a few used ones on amazon. and a refurbished one on ebay (mine was refurbished too) but the one i was looking at today has been totally re-done. quoting the seller here "Modded with cameron sino battery and 30gb toshiba drive" can anyone confirm this being good or bad?

i'm also looking for new recommendations on a similar or better product.
it MUST have a line-in for recording.

      while that player sounds outstanding.....
i should have mentioned needing at least 10 gigs.
would prefer a 20 gig though.

that thing looks far more advanced that what i would need it for.

thank you for the awesome recommendations, though.

those players seem to be a bit more fancy than what i actually need.

the new iKey is dope, though you need a flash drive or something to hook up to it for storage.. but you can record mp3 up to 320kbps or wave.. plus you are able to monitor the levels from -12 or so db up to -3 or there abouts

i own this and it kicks @ss.
but it is more for recording than listening. runs on AA batteries and uses SD cards.
i use to to record found sound for productions, and you can run a line from any mixer to record your sets, at home or out... brilliant.

but yea for you, not a wise buy.
