    West Ocean Events Favourites

I've been lurking for far too long........

    Hi,

I'm sure you've all had your fill from here:

There's more great music there than you can shake a stick at.

So we can separate the good from the great, how about we list the best we've found.

You know, those mixes that make you go 'Oh my god' when you're having coffee on a Thursday morning.

I know it's a subjective thing but if it's good enough it crosses the genres?

I'll start off with this one, Electro tech(ish), short but sweet:

Loco Dice - 2006-07-29 - Live at Whoosah, Scheveningen

    Cheers x

you could put an Emfire release on for 2 minutes and you would be a sleep before it finishes - Chunky

it's RA. they'd blow their load all over some stupid 20 minute loop of a snare if it had a quirky flange setting. - Tiddles

I've often wondered how the guy at that site covers his bandwidth useage. It's certainly a great site with some wonderful music.

Cheers NOOB. I like the topic as I've been spending a bit of time over there checking stuff out and I've been wondering the same thing. As we all know, that to some degree (esp for me) that finding those killer sets is so hit & miss, kinda like stabbing in the dark. I seem to acquire them less by pursuing a particular DJ, and more by obtaining sets of lots of DJ's, en masse. AKA downloading a shitload of music with no regard to my bandwidth usage, hehe.

And btw, I do like to hear what you freaks think about sets, even if you are a bunch of freaks with strange & skewed tastes. OK, just like me.

Oh yeah, Boardrider - welcome to the madness (as a participant now of course) !!!

Oh yeah, to address the topic. For me, lately, anything Anthony Pappa 2001-2004 and John Creamer's sets.

This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.
