I still dont get the fuss about the Ladytron track though. I'll give it a loud listen to confirm its quality.

very very good point dude...ok ive only into sasha about 10years but i heard that it was a bt track that swinged it around.... ure right its alot more dancier...and there is alot of old sounds in that set i just hope that it not just because it was the opening set to ibiza.... cant be techno... but yeah its all about roundabouts

09... and there is no question that sasha is the one that is going to lead the way....one track is all thats needed... someone who can write a track that is fresh yet got that euphoric feeling of trance

Talking about BT, theres a brilliant interview in mixmag with BT on about how sasha invited him over to the UK and took him to a club, BT was amazed by the atmosphere and tunes, sasha then points at bhim from the decks and the next thing he sees is all the UK club heads off on one dancing to his tune (embracing the sunshine or something) and thats when BT decided that his music that the US scene didnt appreiciate had found its home.

allways remember that article for some reason.

I love the way sasha finds/plays/makes tunes that evoke emotion where others cant.

After seeing him last dec i said never again cau it was a techno distorted mess, but this mix has alot more harmonics and hopefully he is returning to his melodic self

funny you say that i saw him at warehouse last decemember and he was very hit and miss... seen him twice the last couple of months, at circus and warehouse project playing very similar but equally brilliant sets. When the man is focused nobody gets near him

i read the description of that track along with the other mixes and I think it is the hyperion mix.

^^^^ You are onto something there Jimmy, I have been getting that sense of him really working the mixes, the flow and the drive in his sets which has been really waning over the past five years. As for the Ladytron track, it just has that sound on a real good PA eating right through your brain, plus where he puts it in his sets just seems to transition his set to the next gear.

Sven Vath was amazing...he played a god damn killer set...ended up going to that and came to at like 10 am in some whore house in south Amsterdam...no idea how I ended up there...friday was a bit of a blur got really drunk and visited several parties can't remember a whole lot to be honest hehe...saturday was probably the best day that I recall...started up in the nearest coffee shop and going from party to party...beautiful woman, beer and weed...finished the night by taking some shrooms and listening to an amazing elke kleijn set...sunday...i met a nice girl who worked at one of the coffee shops and ended up talking to her for like 6 hours...was supposed to meet her at some DnB party...but instead went for a steak and walked around red light district bars drinking and smoking...monday took it easy went to a coffee shop and took a taxi to airport....

All in all...I think I will be going back there some time soon

So white-middle class Americans have been told by their Television sets to be fearful of:

                          1. Mexicans/Latinos from the South bringing drugs and killings n' shit.
                          2. African Americans cause mos def they are raging a race war and want to occupy America like how the plebs occupied Wall St.
                          3. Iranians/Afghans/Any one of middle eastern origin to be quite frank, cause you know Islam...
                          4. North Koreans/Chinese cause you know everything...

                          Am I close here?

the ladytron track is amazing in a club its definately one that sticks with you for a few days afterwards, the alter ego track seems to be killing it aswell.
