Friday Night:
Alphahouse Night @ Weekend Club with Billy Dalessandro (LIVE), Butane & Bill Patrick
Meet Shawn D @ Alexanderplatz at 10:00 and we need to have couple of beers in bar around the square, German beer is defo nice but it worked out my bladder nicely too, about 12:00 we went 2 weekend club which is walking distance from the bar, club is located in Business building on the 15th floor, very chilled door policy, you get off at the 15th floor and it's a dark room with dome funky lights on wall on the right facing the DJ both and a bar strait behind, roomed about till we found stars so went up 2 floors and it;s the fuckin roof top of the building with chillout lounge sort of seating and lamp heaters ( was not needed) and bar all about the edge of the roof, Music was warming up very cool view of Berlin and lots of nice birds
we meet couple of cool ppl from germany & south africa and I was taking about politics !! then down to the main room base was pumping and Billy Dalessandro (LIVE) came on around 2 and it was not 2 busy on the dance floor which gave us some space to dance.
2 Germans MLF come to dance with us and later turned us down when they knew that Shawn was American ( fuck that was funy) then we meet some crazy ozy girl that off her face and had a good laugh, then up again on the roof with more drinks, day light started to come up at 4 @@ the you can see how fucked lot of ppl was ..was fun to check all the party goro planing their after party at Bar 25, we are really tiered so we left at 5, took a taxi to hotel ( 15 min drive) and shawn had ro walk his drunk ass to the hostel.
Saturday Night:
Get Physical nite @ Watergate to check M.A.N.D.Y & DjT
Went to meet shown at the hostel for couple of drinks and he was seating with 2 american guyz traveling Europe, one of the have verbal diary the guy talk for an hours none stop but he was entertaining ( tell all sort of stories about the village he come from and how they all drink till they pass out) then walked to Watergate club which in East Berlin rite by bridge, Q was massive tool us 30 min to get the door meet couple of german guyz and they again stared takin the piss out of shawn being american ( in a nice way tho) the door man would not let us in then i told him that we are music producers and we came all the way on our travel to check M.A.N.D.Y so eventually he let us in, Watergaet is 2 floor club with diff room up and down with seating area outside on the river, we spent some time in the downstairs room then went up stars and it was banging, i think DJ Nazo was on and he was rocking it, sound system was very good.
Later one we went down stars and meet lots of ppl from UK ( funny lads on stage do from Manchester) and some ozy birds and lots Germans indeed, then the whole nite went so fuckin nicely ( i was off my tits) till M.A.N.D.Y came on at 5:00 and they done a good show, but the room downstairs was wicked with the day light and every one is danceing...WOW.
Went out to the seating area on the river and talked to all sort of ppl, Shawn had to leave coz he was catching train to Prague, at about 6:00, my flight was at 3:00 PM and i already packed my stuff so i stayed in the place till 10:00 am ( which was still going) went back to the hotel shower, check out and off 2 the airport to each some dodgy burgerking and slept all the way back in plan.
All in All it was a Top weekend, Shawn is very decent guy easy going and we had fuckin good time, Germans are mental party pp ( at least in Berlin) and they Music, clubs and crowd that we meet were lots of Fun ( apart from the anit american piss taken for shawn)
The Lads from UK were so fuckin funny i nearly pissed myself when they were arguing with their mate to score lil ones I will defo go to Berlin again and i would highly recommend any one who pass by Berlin to check out both Watergate & weekend club.
