Anthony Pappa @ Casio Circus - Sandwiches, Wellington, NZ

OK so the 7th was a Saturday, and not just any Saturday... The kind where you go to a nightclub and while you are standing outside having a cigarette, Anthony Pappa walks past you and is escorted into the pulsing club behind you... Its going to be a good Saturday...

Coming on at around 2.30am, and playing until a quarter to eight, this chilled out and freindly bloke from melborne puled out all the stops for the sammies locals

Armed with a formidable armory of 4 CDJ 1000s and 2 1200 mk5s he cranked a fucking stellar set of hard, choppy, driving, clocky, cranking, techy progressive house, with a few nice vocally tracks in there for good measure...

Highlights of the evening included Stoffa coming out of retirement to play a set and a couple tracks that i love that i cant remember the name of (So just pick a big tune that anthony is known to play and think that :P).

FUCKING SUPERB - BIG THANKS TO BRYCE AND WADE AND THE SANDWICHES CREW FOR ORGANIZING SUCH A GREAT NIGHT!!!

Unfortunately the iphone has a bit of a sucky camera inside at night, but here a a few grainy pics of the evening...

All in all, a great night with fantastic sound (as always) - Cheers to all involved

So what kinda music was he playing? Really hard? He's playing here soon. I've always found his live sets on the harder side, likes to bang it out.

I got pics and video. But I will upload them in the morning. I need to smoke this nice phat joint and just close my eyes and replay the amazingness in my head.
