i would say 90% of the applications that came out with 2.0 are crap.

only ones i installed were ebay, ny times, aim, and aolradio

nope ... the phone cant forward sms, cant send mms without the help of third party apps and cant cut and paste contacts from your phonebook and send to other party

the facebook app is pretty slick. also the google, mobile news, aim, boxoffice, twitterific, and pandora are good too.

hahahah! i was just able to vpn into my work via ipsec. it was simple and just asks for my rsa number and pin.

too bad i dont see an ssh client on the app store yet, i could do my job from the bar when im oncall then

fyi, the vid shows the iphone as ssh server (using openssh) but it includes the client too (i used it on a regular iphone, and it works like a charm)...

just wait for the release of the tool...

i so want to do something like this when it comes out because i would love to hack around something like this add screw around on the command line since it is just another unix device, but again i dont want to risk the chance of my crap getting bricked and me having to spend 600$ to get another phone.

i *hope* some type of official ssh client comes out thru the app store sometime...

I just read Apple didn't implement any copy/paste function into the OS, wtf? And turn-by-turn GPS whatever has been disabled pending some legal stuff, possibly for a third-party to develope a app.

yeah i dont know why the hell it wasnt implemented. hopefully in a later flash update to the os.
