Production anyone know anything about motu soundcards ?

mines developed a slight problem, still under garentee so its going back but tbh i'd rather try and sort it out without having to send it back ( gutted... )

its going back for the manufacturers to have alook @ it, videod the problem on my sisters phone and sent them it, man its going weird, showing activity on channels that are not active and also there is sometimes a buzzing sound in time with the music

My motu has developed a problem as well. When switching sound between sources (Logic, iTunes, Ableton, or anything else) I get intermittant audio for about 20 seconds. It can be very frustrating. Furthermore, if I leave it on for a few hours with no activity, it flips out, displays the start message and makes horrible popping/thumping noises.

...all this said, I can't even register for customer service because I bought it secondhand from a studio that is now out of business.

Sound quality is great (well, minus the stuttering), service sucks.

yea mines went a bit crazy right now, got 2 video clips of it happeneing but have been in touch with the people i bought it from, music track ( the people who supply them in the uk and also motu themselves who sudjested i send it back to music track, getting picked up tommorow which meens i,m spending a full weekend without my darling :'(

really dont wanna send it back because i,ve kind of got used to using it now and i,m used to the sound, i have another soundcard in there but to be able to use it with my speakers i,ll have to use the spdif connection which doesnt give me any control over volume settings in the soundcards settings page, i cant control it untill i use a daw or something which kind of makes things hard to edit etc etc
