            Re: Offshore Drilling

What I saw on the news last night even makes me more irate than watching those videos.

They said BP could easily fix this entire problem with explosives. They could use exploseves to blow up the well which would cap off the leak all together. They said they dont want to do this because of all the money that has alrady been invested and obviously the oil they would lose out on.

Where is our government in this??? Why arent we sending the military over there to blow up this thing so that it can be sealed off. F*** BP and there billion dollar profits...Obama would be a hero if he had the balls to make a call like this.

doesnt seem to much interest in this if u watch the news anymore. but the spill has reached the loop current and is heading towards the keys then Miami Beach.

Here are animated models that show the flow of the loop current.

I'm all for offshore drilling but I think we also need more refineries in the US. There hasn't been a new refinery built since the 70's. Ultimately, I think nuclear energy and hydrogen technology will be the solution.

have no fear... kevin costner's here to save the day!

this would actually be mildly helpful in the clean up... i hope it works as well as he claims. and i hope he isn't going to charge an arm an a leg just to make a profit out of the ordeal.

This catastrophe is surely an opportunity for us to reevaluate our needs, and do away with fossil fuels --- so upgrading and experimentation with superior prototypes can commence. The shame lies in this though: dogmatic and materialistic science is like a millstone around one's neck.

that term i used is a veiling mask for 'a something' else.

there's exoteric history, and then there's the hidden history of humanity. i wish us luck in cutting through the illusion and maya. we know that thru 'terrorist and illegal activities' the 'jews' used a seperating force along an entirley active-intel channel to take land, resources, steal and murder. the 'jewish' problem, and the carbon problem are both considerable.

i guess we're perhaps stuck with oil for a long, long time; our planet depends upon carbon for the manifestation of it's various forms of life expression, yeah. i'd like to get into the discussion that poses the question whether the oceans were liquid carbonic acid - during the cardoniferous period, and many other related subjects. plants consume carbonic acid, but for animals and men, it kills. we're today filling the atmosphere with billions of tonnes of un-necessary carbonic pollution, and additional combos of man made gases - which are harmful to human beings, and the planet, and also other planets. does not this discordance disrupt the circulatory flow of energies, by blocking off the atmosphere to the solar inflow of energies - and thereby upsetting the healthful functioning of the planet?

effectively, humanity is in process of re-enacting the atmosphere of primeval times; one which had an atmosphere of a highly carbonic and acidic nature, never intended for the habitation of humanity, in full incarnation on the earthly physical plane.

btw, how much do they project is left in the fossil fuel deposits in the earth right now?

I dont think we will ever get off fossil fuels.. at least in my lifetime. Either we will kill ourselves and then we wont have to worry about it or when we do run out, we will kill ourselves for every last drop, supply and demand.

This was pretty much the last straw in my hope that the US government is not run by corporations. I have 0 faith in my government, liberal or conservative. I have been keeping up with this and have watched several interviews with republicans and democrats and they all say the same, we shoulda woulda coulda.. no real answers only HOPE that BP can do the job when they didnt even do the job correctly when they put that shit into the gulf to begin with. So fucking sad.
