Satoshie does NOT qualify for Asia in any way even if I still think he's real good.

Personaly I would have to say Takkyu Ishino for Asia/Japan.
He's a global touring dj and has major recognition.

Now if we're going for the whole house/prog genre he's disqualified.

^^^ that is interesting, and bizarre to me. i understand the confusion of central america. i guess it is part of north america, it is in the same world cup qualifying region as north america.

Any opinion on my continent confusion?

Is America one continent or two? I'd always thought it was two (North and South) until I had a conversation with an Argentinian girl earlier this year who spent a year in New York and was horrified that they were taught at school it was two continents when she was taught it was just one continent...

Where does that put Central America she said? And I sort of mumbled it was probably North as the line was probably drawn at the Panama Canal.

I don't think Pappa should come under Australia, nor should Satoshi under Asia
Satoshi even more so than Pappa, he's been based out of New York for almost his entire career which goes back a while now

I'm not sure who you'd pick for Asia, maybe DJ19

satoshi is japanese, so i think there's no issue there, just as anthony pappa is an aussie. it's like saying kylie minogue isn't an aussie cos she's been in the uk for over 10 years, or elle macpherson isn't an aussie cos she lives in europe. now we can't let somebody else claim them now can we??

but if you're takin' that approach then the answer's easy. asia = osamu m
