On a semi related note, my bf and I have purchased a used rv privately through the park office which has new management. All they've done is accept our money order to hand over to the sellers so they can get their 10% for the listing. Now they're telling us we owe them at the office $1300 in pst and gst. They won't be tranferring the ownership for us at the MTO. So after all of my research on the net and over the phone I've found out that we pay pst when we transfer the ownership at MTO ourselves and there is no gst paid on the private sales of used rv's. They say they'll hand over the ownership and keys when we hand over the money. I'm about to fucken blow my top on this uneducated ingnorant chick who I always have to deal with on the phone. I'm tempted to have someone from the Ministry of Finance (pst) the Revenue Agency (gst) and Omvic (Registered Dealership council) give them a wee phone call.
Also, they're trying to charge a $100 late fee for our park fees which were due Mar 15th. So we call up on the 12th to pay by credit card like we always have done and were informed they don't take credit card payments over the phone anymore, that we can pay when we get up there. When we do go and pay they tell us about the $100 and I tell them they didn't send out any information about the methods of payment changing and she says I should have called to ask.
Then friends of ours were in the office this past weekend and lo and behold, fucken chick takes a credit card payment over the phone right infront of them and repeats the credit card # and expiry date.
F*n trailer park people....oh wait, I'm one of them! Only on the weekends during the summer though. And def. not when there's a dj in town I want to see.

The blue dollarstore reciepts that she handed me for 10 grand with no business name stamped on them got me wondering who the fuck these people were and the fact they asked us for the tax after we had paid.
