Straight outta Belgrade, this Serbian duo are making themselves well known on the global scene, with an amazing live show and stunning music productions that take influences from many genres, they have found widespread support from a varied range of DJs such as Sasha, Laurent Garnier, Tiesto, Eric Prydz, Sander Kleineberg and Desyn Massileo.
This E.P. on Triptik is one of their most eclectic, already likened to Booka Shade and for their organic and analogue sounding productions, ‘Motion’ the title track of the E.P. has all the hallmarks of a club classic with a memorable breakdown. ‘Pozor!’ named after the famous Croation club night is a quirky outing that sounds like an funky house track but with techno grit and drive. Current darling of the UK scene Tim Davison, who made a name for himself by updating some previously untouchable classics to great effect, gets his hands on ‘Motion’ and turns out a top remix, true to the original and perfect for later sets. Reworkers provide an original soundtrack to Audionova’s original music, their reworking of ‘Motion’ is a cinematic tour de force and is sure to end up on the next Audi advert. An outstanding package of music for the dancefloor and everywhere else, Audionova are ones to watch for 2008.
