Kris B - 'Starshine'(Bastards of Funk & Sonic Union, Kabuto & Koji, Holosound, Nosmo v Kris B mixes) OUT NOW
Sometimes, they just all come out at once!!
Our latest release is a remix package
of Kris B "Starshine", which came out last year on System Recordings.
Starshine is a funky, techy, big room house track, with a catchy
vocoder hook. The original and dub mixes were supported by Desyn
Masiello, Jody Wisternoff, Hernan Cattaneo, Kenneth Thomas, and
featured on Steve Porter's "Essential Mix". We have enlisted the help
of some great remixers and good friends of ours, resulting in four top
notch remixes, crossing several genres.
First up, Bastards of Funk & Sonic Union did an amazing mix of techy
beats, a big growling bassline, and a cool arpeggio, working in
perfect harmony with the original vocals.
Kabuto & Koji took a deeper, more minimal house/techno approach,
with deep driving percussion, big swirls and techno chord stabs.
Holosound took a more upbeat house approach, with funky beats and
bass, progressive melodies and great use of the vocal.
The Nosmo v Kris B mix is a little different from our recent sound,
we re-did the vocoder line, making it gritty and dirtier, to match the
electro style bass. We threw in some weird effects and synths, and
two huge builds in this peak time dancefloor remix.
