Re: share your musical knowledge with me!!!
how about an hour of brit pop, killie minogue, the sugar babes, robbies williams, hey you could even throw in some american stuff like eminem or a million other , i,m sure it would go down with with the progressive house poeple
tbh i think if ur on a radio show its really up to you that chooses what you want to play even though u want to be popular with your listeners its really about expressing yourself, god i,m sounding like a twat here but thats what i believe in really
i,m not the man to talk to about this really as i,ve not been buying much recent music recently but i,m sure there are many on the board who "know there stuff" and will gladly help you make the perfect show -
Re: share your musical knowledge with me!!!

Re: share your musical knowledge with me!!!
yea me 2, calyx and teebee's album anatomy has to be one of the best drum n bass albums i,ve ever heard and of course adam f's colours was just deadly in its day and still is amazing to listen to even today, i,m still crazy about bukems sound, his jazzy sound has just been outstanding especially logical progression 4, i saw him just before it was released in glasgow and he played basically the whole set live to an intimate crowd of around 100-150 and i have to say it was outstanding, even that scene seems to be splitting up and going in different directions with nero funk, liquid and clownstep etc ( more for the youngers ) tbh i,m @ the stage where i,m just picking up any type of music and if i like it i buy it simple as that, same kind of goes for when i,m messing around with my computerComment

Bukem is wicked, amazing on the decks live.Originally posted by ShpiraSo came back last night...
Sven Vath was amazing...he played a god damn killer set...ended up going to that and came to at like 10 am in some whore house in south Amsterdam...no idea how I ended up there...friday was a bit of a blur got really drunk and visited several parties can't remember a whole lot to be honest hehe...saturday was probably the best day that I recall...started up in the nearest coffee shop and going from party to party...beautiful woman, beer and weed...finished the night by taking some shrooms and listening to an amazing elke kleijn set...sunday...i met a nice girl who worked at one of the coffee shops and ended up talking to her for like 6 hours...was supposed to meet her at some DnB party...but instead went for a steak and walked around red light district bars drinking and smoking...monday took it easy went to a coffee shop and took a taxi to airport....
All in all...I think I will be going back there some time soonOriginally posted by IlluminateLet me get this straight.
So white-middle class Americans have been told by their Television sets to be fearful of:
1. Mexicans/Latinos from the South bringing drugs and killings n' shit.
2. African Americans cause mos def they are raging a race war and want to occupy America like how the plebs occupied Wall St.
3. Iranians/Afghans/Any one of middle eastern origin to be quite frank, cause you know Islam...
4. North Koreans/Chinese cause you know everything...
Am I close here?Comment

Re: share your musical knowledge with me!!!
Cool idea Chloe - I put my recommendation up.
It's a old tune by Theorem - 1995ish - titled Stasis off the Nano album. Kinda Oribital meets Aphex Twin (ambient Aphex Twin, not Come To Daddy Aphex Twin). Really smooth tune, very basic, very stripped down, but I always liked it!Imagination was given to man to compensate him for what he is not;
a sense of humor to console him for what he is.Comment
