The playground is part of NextAid's pilot project: an ecological children's center in South Africa that will serve as a safe home for 50 children orphaned by AIDS, a multi-purpose center for the greater community, and a model for best practices throughout Africa. NextAid broke ground in July 2005, kicking off the construction of the Dennilton center for Youth with a Vision (YWAV). To date, seven buildings and supporting structures are completed. Info about this project can be found at www.nextaid.org/multipurposecenter.htm
