Mix Master Mike- Memoirs of a Serial Wax Killer (1996)
I had this tape at one point but it somehow disappeared over the years. It's listed as one of his first mixtape releases and is very representative of his ADHD style. It just moves from one thing to the next and fits together still despite the sometimes vast differences between connecting pieces. There's no track listing for this tape, it's just overlayed so much it would be hard to even distinguish what a track really is. The tape is just over 60 minutes in length. In terms of the music content, he relies on some breaks, some newer hip-hop and some classics and a hell of a lot breakbeat record samples. He flips some some samples and others just blend together to form turntable verses basically. If you're a fan of MMM then this will be exactly what you'd expect. A great listen as well for any turntablism fan. Enjoy!!!
