the world is getting ridiculous - understatement of the year
"Son," he said without preamble, "never trust a man who doesn't drink because he's probably a self-righteous sort, a man who thinks he knows right from wrong all the time. Some of them are good men, but in the name of goodness, they cause most of the suffering in the world. They're the judges, the meddlers. And, son, never trust a man who drinks but refuses to get drunk. They're usually afraid of something deep down inside, either that they're a coward or a fool or mean and violent. You can't trust a man who's afraid of himself. But sometimes, son, you can trust a man who occasionally kneels before a toilet. The chances are that he is learning something about humility and his natural human foolishness, about how to survive himself. It's damned hard for a man to take himself too seriously when he's heaving his guts into a dirty toilet bowl."

maybe its the history of violence spreading out from thier region? i mean, there are wars here and there, but that place is always fighting someone or each other. (middle east)

Why did they use the dog in the first place? Regardless, someone should be upset with the Islam complainers thinking dogs are unclean creatures. Most everyone I know in my apartment building has a dog and loves them like a person. I think it's a little overboard the love for dogs at times, but that wouldn't sit well with many of my neighbors what Islam shopkeepers are saying.

Re: the world is getting ridiculous - understatement of the year
That is pathetic. It's tragic that most if not all Islam is still stuck in a state of rigid medieval thought-forms. Seriously, their level of devout fundamentalism and extreme religious idealism is startling. Retardation to say the least. Some say it's a "karmic" reciprocity of the disgraceful Western dogmatic, hegemony and reign over the centuries. Perhaps, yes. I say, get with the fucking program and move on radicals, your ways are obsolete. Shit i'd love to see the Muslim culture progress, unify and cultivate a sound understanding of the rest of the world and themselves, with proper integration.
Lol what we need to do is go play them our music. We need to send Omid16b etc. etc. over to Terhan pronto. ftw.
religion is/can be a cruel limitation.

it isn't them complaining that is the serious problem. it is the people and governments that bend over backwards to appeal to them when they do complain that is the real problem. society (especially in the UK these days) needs to grow some balls and put them in their place or they are going to continue to whine about trivial bullshit like a puppy on a postcard.
Should I fuck you at that not until the ass, inject then tremendously hard bumschen and to the termination in the eyes yes?
Re: the world is getting ridiculous - understatement of the year
True that Garrick. Coercion is a very very wrong thing to do. The UK Gov. does need some balls. I hear its getting pretty bad on the other side of the pond. I think they should just not let any more Muslims into their country or they should just pull some heavy duty measures on the ones already resident and what not, or else they will increase the chances of a dirty nuke going off etc.
Re: the world is getting ridiculous - understatement of the year
well not so much restricting them from inhabiting an area or doing anything drastic to them, but more of a "you don't like the way we are? too bad" attitude. if it seriously bugs them, they'll pack up and leave. otherwise, let them get used to how things are. i can completely understand accomodating them to some degree. but not to the degree i've been seeing over and over in the news.

Well said man. My only worry is that there is that select few extremists who wont back down and comply, and further continue to silently plot. One thing leads to another, and then they end up blowing themselves up in a busy area. Im sure the authorities are making progress on this issue but you are right, they need to grow some major decisive courage, and do something.

or you could do as obama suggests: give them whatever they want, be nice to them, try to talk nicely to them, try to convince them to coexist peacefully
