i didn't even know the place was still around. Thought they moved it to NYC where it lasted about two months.

the one in nyc was based on the one in montreal. montreal's stereo is one of the best clubs in the world. i've had some incredible nights there...

Same. Very sad to hear about this

However, I heard a rumour that the sound system is ok and they are opening up again in the next week or so....not sure if any of that is true, but it would be great if it is!

i had thought they had shut down the Montreal spot to move to NYC. Could have sworn i read that somewhere.

^^^ Nope, I was just there in October, and Chris played there in Feb of this year.

I still haven't been able to find much information about the fire though...anyone else heard anything? The only article I have found is this one: http://lcn.canoe.ca/lcn/infos/faitsd...03-050644.html

All it basically says is there was $500,000 in damage, took 100 firefighters, and its considered suspicious.

Holy Moly 500K in damages. That must have included a lot of the sound system.
