O K. If you say so dude. To me minimal these days in incredibly boring. I need songs with melody to them.

So just to let me know, is it natural for the headliner dj's to start at 1:30AM? It would take me some getting used to for NYC. I'm used to 12AM for the headliner.

Yeah, the headliners in NYC usually come on @ 1-2AM. The place opens at like 10 with just local residents (sleepy and boo or someone else) until like 11:30-12, then the opening DJ comes on until like 1-2AM, which is when the headliner starts. The club closes when people clear out. Christ, the bar is open till 4:00AM in NYC. Its just a whole different animal down there..... But I love it!!

^^^That's the sort of schedule we have here. But our bars close when the club does.

I'm not saying straight out minimal, but the thing S&D have nowadays is just freaking amazing IMO, I can't imagine myself going back to old patterns : flat baselines, dark pads, operalike female vocals I mean who knows right? maybe is just me. but last time I checked on Hernan it was the same shit since 2004, 2006 and frankly 2008, I really love him as a Dj one of my faves but lately his stuff have become way to repetitive imho. he is amazing live tho'

Well at least we agree on the "amazing live "thing

I've actually been playing a lot of older stuff [no new stuff] and he has definitely moved along over those years.

played more than 3 hours but was not a brillant set. what he played was mostly old trackz. and finally it was a boring night as always in pacha.
