I won't be back until next Tuesday, so if Get Carter is the correct answer, I would appreciate of someone else posts a new cap for me

Well, it's working on my phone, so it's clearly a problem with my system. Oh well, probably trying out something new here at the office...

Call me paranoid but, isn't gmail a bit invasive as far as privacy goes?

Does it not read your emails and customize their advertising to you based on the content of your emails??

I think that's right. It certainly could be more secure, but I don't use it for any financial transactions or other sensitive information. If Google wants to know whether or not I'm going to make it to softball tomorrow evening, it's not a big deal to me.

I think Google already knows what pair of under ware you're going to put on for said softball game, and what your batting average is going to be.

yeah its just automated keyword matching, just like they do with their adsense stuff when you search for something on their homepage. its entirely automated and just as safe/unsafe as any 3rd party hosted email site. if yahoo/gmail/hotmail want to read your email the admins/whoever are going to be able to if they have access since its on their servers. just dont put your credit card numbers in email notes to yourself and you'll be cool.
