mulletover are pleased to announce a new venture this Summer. On the 20th July they will host an arena at Lovebox 2008 in Victoria Park. Lovebox has become a pinnacle of the capital’s festival circuit, a two-day fiesta that welcomes masses of music lovers from all walks of life to witness music from diverse acts. Sharing the day with mulletover are the talents of Goldfrapp, Sebastien Tellier, the Flaming Lips and The Go!Team.
mulletover are famed for secret warehouse parties around the capital bringing the best in underground dance artists. They are excited to welcome two of the scene’s global success stories to play, Craig Richards and Damian Lazarus, both pioneers of the electronic scene and masters of their game.
Craig Richards has realised worldwide recognition by staying in one place. Hisresidency at Fabric is an unparalleled success. Each and every week he creates an inspiring soundtrack for the club, a soundtrack that is never the same and always challenging. As artist in residence and musical director at Fabric he is largely responsible for the modern and exciting programming of Saturday nights. Craig is currently producing an album of music with a book of poetry and paintings with Howie B to be released at the end of the year.
Damian Lazarus is leading the change. He is one of a small number of DJ’s delivering a fresh sonic surge of forward thinking music and new dancefloor perspectives. Founder of the Crosstown Rebels record label, former A&R at Cityrockers and creator of London’s infamous Stink and Bodyrockers parties he has been responsible for discovering some of the World’s best electronic artists over the past ten years. He has spent the past few years touring the Globe with his Rebel sound designed for lovers of late night madness, future dance floor classics and cutting edge new ideas.
Geddes is the musical direction of mulletover and our sole resident. This year he has launched his own label murmur, continued to release beautiful music under the Rekleiner guise and DJ at home and abroad at the World’s best clubs. Simon Morell completes the bill, founder of London’s beloved DDD event he embodies a warm, eclectic style perfect for summer listening.
