and if you are changing it from .exe to .mp3, are you burning it as a music disk or data? not sure if that makes a difference. it might tho

Also even if the set is joined and the extension was renamed to .mp3, the DJ T set is 2 hours long..not burnable in one piece to an audio CD, only as a mp3 and as a data CD.

yes i want to change it from .exe to an mp3.

          i will record 3 diffrent cds, one with part1, other part2 , another part3.

40 min each. so they can fit in an audio cd.

but im still not able to rename.

          hope the info helps.

          thanxz.

Check this thread for problems with renaming the files: http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/...pic.php?t=4413 and take care you remove the .001 .002 and .003 endings of the files so the extension is just .mp3 in the end if you want to burn the split parts.

              no good luck at all.

I downloaded the parts again, and renamed them
to .mp3 but still neither Nero or easy cd creator will accept them as
              a file to burn.

              anybody else had this problem?

              what else can I do?

(i also checked the link you wrote down tom tom. followed the instructions
              but no luck)

Maybe Nero does not like sets which were split with HJ-Split...never tried to burn a single split file. Maybe merge the entire set and cut it into pieces with a trial version of Cool edit or Soundforge...or use the Nero Wave Editor, cut the merged set in pieces and save the individual parts as WAV-files and try to burn them then..more work but maybe the only option...an easier way would be to try to cut it with Musiccutter (Google it, it?s easy to find), maybe this works too.

^^^ Maybe Toms right but you can merge the sets then set the end index in nero to whatever or you can use winamp to convert it to wav and burn it.
