seriously, why are jocks dissing the CD/mp3 thing. I love it. Yoshitoshi closed down in DC over a year ago and I thought my DJing was over. I had to spend $50 - $75 a month just on shipping alone....now with beatport, EDM, 3 beat, etc., I can not only get the new shit, but tracks that would have never been released bc label mgrs like Oakey just don't like the track. whatever. fuck that monkey....

i agree with oakey....to the extent of laptops....cdj's sure....but once u go laptop u've basically broken down barriers for creativity within a parameter. What you can do with turntables, records, and maybe some cdj's is more intriguing than fucking around on a laptop.Many people would sooner die than think; In fact, they do so.
