so i,ve just had a 40 minute hard sell phone call for an it course
5 grand right from the word go and apparently a job within the IT industry within 3 months making @least 18 grand a year for the first stage, then right all the way up to microsoft certified plus making a considerable amount more
thinking about it but thing is the guy on the phone said that there was info on there website to which i found absolutley zero info on the site
anyone help me on finding out info about this kind of training ?
Re: so i,ve just had a 40 minute hard sell phone call for an it course
lol i was lookin @ the wrong site...typical
advent, 3 months n i could be out of hell job and pulling my hair out about twats that cant open programs and phoning me up telling me that there computer isnt working

so they find a job for you too? that sounds pretty slick and i think the IT field is fairly in demand these days. i'd say it can't be all bad if they help you sort out employment during your tenure there although simply getting a microsoft certification doesn't seem like it'd just put you into a job easily. most of the time i think the jobs offered are pretty clerical/secretarial which can be a bit of a drag. if you can find it, try looking at the types of jobs most of the people come out of this certification with and see if it is something you wouldn't mind doing.
some things to consider:
can you afford the cost up front? and can you afford living while being unemployed while going to school? although they claim they can get you a decent paying job, what is the likeliness it would be as much as you make now? you don't need to answer me, but good questions to ask yourself.
Should I fuck you at that not until the ass, inject then tremendously hard bumschen and to the termination in the eyes yes?
Re: so i,ve just had a 40 minute hard sell phone call for an it course
you get yourself MCSE and you can pretty much write your own pay cheque without someone finding a job for you, people will be banging your door down.. worse comes to worse and go to a staffing company of some sorts.. but I would be willing to bet it wouldnt take more than a fortnight to get a job
Re: so i,ve just had a 40 minute hard sell phone call for an it course
good point, but I wouldnt expect too many people with zero IT experience would have the interest to do it let alone the brains to pass it.. and as far as i know it isnt cheap

You'd be surprised. We had an opening and we interviewed several people and some new there stuff and others didn't. It's pretty easy to spot the one's that don't though. I had one guy call a switch a server (repeatedly)
