I think that the fact that Michael Mann is directing it will probably save the movie. He was one the producers of the original TV series, and also produced and directed "Crime Story" (remeber that series, with Dennis Farina?).

And how good was "Heat"? I love that movie!

they are shooting a scene in a club, and they're casting extras ....the add in the paper read :"Extras for movie shoot wanted, Colombians preferred "
