Now that is something I can get behind. Sadly we will get one or the other. And as someone pointed out in an earlier post we get the leader we deserve, and that includes those who didn't vote for the person. Life has a way of its own, its called reality.

Switch to proportional representation, you won't have to choose between only 2 people...

Anyway, I'm done with this discussion. Shosh, we just disagree too much to convince each other of our own point of view here, so let's start talking about beer & hot chicks next time we get dragged into a discussion like this

K, just saw that pic of Obama waving at the crowd in Berlin, and the message suddenly became vey clear: if the US wants to be accepted as a befriended nation instead of an alienated one, vote Obama.

No opinion here, just an obsevation.

you are aware of how much the US gives a shit about Europe, aren't you?

Europeans have a very strong record of cheering on, electing, and praising "good" leaders. Every country has been there numerous times so that doesnt mean shit. So to trust the euros with asserting who the right candidate is, is like trusting josef fritzl with his own daughter... oh wait

Barack Obama now leads John McCain among national registered voters by a 49% to 40% margin in Gallup Poll Daily tracking conducted July 24-26.

can we all jsut admit that we are fucked no matter who wins. the only thing obama has is that he is not GW' party. no real other qualifying factors around him. mccain is like giving gw a 3rd term.

both full of shit. both bad choices. but both better than hillary.

comon people can we just stop. no matter who wins it will have serious negative
consequences here and abroad. if mccain wins, the world still hates us, ok fuck you too. if obama wins, our country gets even worse to deal with internally. no matter what the guys liek toasty tell me, the split will destroy us. people will cheer for awhile, but after a week, we will see a polarization worse than we ever imagined. talk brass tax here, call a spade a spade. obama, a black man, who half the country thinks is a muslim, with zero experience and party line stance equal to his former party nemisis. oh yeah, thats gonna sit well with 90% of small business and the market, and the fucking assholes who are already plotting his asassination...

either of those are inevitable. live with it. im looking at homes in toronto if obama wins, and fucking nuke shelters if mccain wins.

im sorry, but no matter how hard anyone pitches obama, i cant even consider him a positive factor for the history of our country. and this isnt saying im for mccain, i wrote him off long ago, he isnt even a factor in my mind.

and jenks, overrated in that people present him to be something new, and he isnt. the only new thing about him is his age. other than that. he has a history of being a part of the problem we have faced since clinton;s second term... (houses voting against the sitting admin and getting zero done for the country.)
