TRON was the coolest shit back then, I think the first movie with CG

I definitely remember the first and this one looks sick too.
I loved the style of the first one... definitely not of the norm, which was one of the reasons it was so cool. Very abstract.

The directors are none other than boy wonder Joseph Kosinksi of KDLAB fame. Dude has been my hero for a long time- his work is fucking dope. The other director is the chief creative officer at pixar John Lasseter who has an impeccable track record as a director/producer. No doubt this is going to be a sick ass movie.
Also worthy of mention is that Joseph Kosinski is also set to direct a remake of Logan's Run.

It wasn't technically the first but it was the first that extensively used it- something like 10-15 minutes of cg. Uses of cg prior to this were really few and far between. Star Wars being a notable one....Comment
