    be honest here

how many of u enjoy listening to drum and bass ?

i know from my own experiences from other boards that some other countries outside of the uk absolutely hate it.

i cant really understand that as being kind of old i grew up listening to it in its early stages and tbh like any other gene of edm its progressed into a maturer sound in parts.

Enjoy it but not crazy about it. Drum n bass--like breaks--is one of the flavours of EDM that is a nice break from prog or tech.

I got pics and video. But I will upload them in the morning. I need to smoke this nice phat joint and just close my eyes and replay the amazingness in my head.

I love drum n Bass! Logical Progression w/MC Conrad was where it was at for me.. It's what got me into this whole mess in the first place.

I never really got into it.Wasn't exposed to d-n-b when i was growing up,unlike house, trance, etc. When I do go to the random d-n-b nights, I'm there to support a friend of mine that spins.Other than that I could careless.

I like it. I really like that energy in it. But some years ago, it wasn't my cup of tea.

I dig it when it's good. Don't care for Jungle though. LTJ is the way.

DnB is lovely music. Check out High Contrast. Adam F. Goldie. LTJ. There's nothing like listening to prog all week, and then waking up sunday morning to some lush jazzy hooks.

It's jungle that sucks. noise for the sake of making noise.

i love it tbh but not the clownstep side of things which is a bit erm erm erm ermmmm u know what i mean, liquid dnb is outstanding in my eyes especially some of the stuff which has a jazzy feel to it....i like the moody side of it as well but sometimes its over done. recently though i,ve noticed that some of its been going minimal in someways...been playing around with a synth today trying to make a techstep basssline lol

its not as easy as everyone thinks

i love it, even tough im primarely a techno dj, ive been booked a couple of times to play drum n bass.

heres a nice little mix i did a couple of weeks back.

its weird cuz if im stressing out, d&b will most likely relax me in a really cool way.

I really like smooth & sexy DnB,like bukem style. My best friend(also roomate) plays amazing DnB.I think steve james can back me up on this.

one thing that i've notice DnB dj's as of late,is how they r switching to playing Electro. reason is that its easy for them to get more gigs (told by other DnB djs that i've spoked too). is this happening in your scene lately?

                              cheers
