Lee Pennington - Jumpin On The Bandwagon

QR010 Lee Pennington - Jumpin' On The Bandwagon
    Release Date: Jul 29th, 2008

Over the last few years Lee has fast become a respected DJ / producer of underground house music under his Section 75 and riffraff aliases. He has tracks supported by the likes of, Hernan Catteneo, Nick Warren, Steve Lawler, John Digweed, Scott Bradford, Paul Van Dyk and many more A list Djs.

And with this track is no exception of his underground sound. He builds up an amazing groove from the beggining of the track, building things up with some sick lfos going all around. And an amazing vocal on this one.

The package comes with 3 remixes. On first hand Damon G, great producer and remixer from Canada, and Full Body Souns System manager, he had done amazing work in the past and this remix is no exception. He lift things up with his electro - progressive sound, with a groove that will make your feet move on their own.

The second remix comes from Tobias Hoppe from Germany. Cooling things down a little bit, with his deep progressive sound. Cool synths and melodies on this one. Great for warming things up.

And last but not least Facundo Romano from San Martin, Argentina. Turning things a little bit up on the progressive side. Great percussive grooves and hypnotic melodies on this one.

Quimika Records has worked hard at gaining identity in their music and so with this next release, Lee Pennington’s Jumpin On The Bandwagon, Quimika again continues in their own style.

The Original mix feeds in with an arpeggio cutting through the floor and the whole subtlety of this release stands out, this mix will not be guilty of catching you by surprise, so smooth is the progression. Deeper moments of atmospheric break in and there’s a few sweeps into key but the overall blend is pretty safe for mid-set.

Damon G Knows Who’s On The Wagon Mix hits with a little more poke, more is made from the key sweep here and the beat is crystal clear.

Tobias Hoppe Drive By Mix goes even deeper and melodic, it’s like standing at the station, while the train sweeps in and back out again.

Facundo Romano’s Remix brings the melody forefront and adds more expression, while still maintaining some elements found in the other mixes.
