    “Recorre” (Hidden Recordings)

You can count Hidden Recordings’ output on the fingers of one hand—this latest single, from Argentine artist Gustavo Lamas, is release number five—but even with that minuscule discography, the label has garnered plenty of attention among fans of deep techno and electronic house. “Recorre,” with a choir of shimmering synths weaving its melodic way through the track’s simple bassline and percussion, will do little to quiet that buzz. Hidden honchos Deepak Sharma and Dieter Krause handle the remix, taking the track to a slightly darker place via a pulsating low end, subtle guitar work and a flood of reverb, while retaining its inherently Elysian feel.

Deepak Sharma plays at Rotate NYC Fri 1.
