I found this pic on the net, you can see part of the square, that day there was 1 Million people... Huge place.

^ Yes, It is an annual event; But last time they managed to organize it in Lebanon was like 4 years ago...so we expect this one to be Ze bomb

I just got a mail saying the peace parade has been postponed.. I hope it is not related to the bomb that went off this morning in northern Lebanon; 20 dead (of which 10 were soldiers), 50 injured...

That really sucks Shiva!! Sorry to hear. Any word on when its been postponed till?

Heard about the bombing today. They're thinking it might be related to the president's visit to Syria.

I am not sure, but the organizer sent me a mail yesterday saying it was posponed without giving any further details... It was a fresh decision just taken before they sent me the mail, I donno if they will stick to it or go ahead with the parade as planned. Till now the countdown is still on on their website...

I am just waiting to see whats the final decision....

By now we are starting to get used to having bombs, wars and stuff like start just before or during the summer season, thats the third year in a raw that trouble occur; Our local economy depends almost entirely on the tourism sector, and it seems some parties don't want this country to flourish in peace...

Thats an incredibly large square, amazing size for a show. You should be so excited to headline this one. Hopefully, it will get rescheduled soon, and peace will prevail.
