so i was very doubtful and hesitant to cop this game, cuz of the genre it falls into, but after giving this a full play thru, all i can say is damn... stunning, vast and dreamy.
the combat bugs and weak AI can be simply omitted by the level of creative thought and sound mastering that was put into every detail of this ish. top notch. enjoyed it thoroughly. i hear they are making 2 more sequels as well. gg k thx no re bioware corp. way cool!
Most def., I'm going to be playing alot more of Their rpg's and others as well, in the future..
That ended up being my favorite part of the game -- the character synthesis and the communication aspect. amazing work by that whole team.
Having been slighted of how advanced these style of games have got, i found myself slapped. i really enjoyed the novaria/matriarch, and vilmire instances the most.
Gunna run er' thru again with the other classes now.
honestly, i loved the game, the combat however, needs to be more and more refined. i felt like i was doing more conversing than actual playing through events.
the combat itself, works very well. but teh char movement fucked me a few times here and there.
your life is an occasion, rise to it.
Join My Chant. new mix. april 09. dirty fuck house.
download that. deep shit listed there
I've been playing this when I can over the past 6 months or so. I think it's awesome and I don't even typically like RPGs. I would definitely play a sequel.
Corven, would you recommennd the Baldur's Gate or Neverwinter Nights series?
Looking into playing them soon...

Ya, the combat was awesome fun, i only got bugged on the last level, the plank 15 lab, and 1 other instance i cant remember. i think it bugs when you take cover? anyways, it's still really sweet. right on.
Both series are great..Baldurs Gate is in 2D and looks ancient nowadays but the World is more open and complex. Neverwinter nights is also cool but I never liked the areas which are basiqually squares all the time because of the engine limitations...but at least it is in 3D. If you start with Baldurs Gate and play all parts + the extensions you can't play anything else till mid next year anyway.
thx for the pointers all. sounds nice; i'm really nostalgic with regards to the older fortified communities, and graphic engines forsure.. glad to hear that.
btw. ..kinda over the ign right now, but is there any insider news on the latest mass effect sequels? regards.
both Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Night series are great both on story and game play especially if you are a D&D fan ... i read that they are releasing Neverwinter Nights 2 later this year so that might be something to watch for
