A recent catastrophe has taken almost my entire mp3 collection from me. Lets just say I had about a hundred gigs or so spread across multiple hard drives, and then they were gone before you can say "offsite backups."
Instead of trying to rebuild it (obviously impossible and tediously slow) I'm hoping to amass a new collection made of everyone else's stashes. I doubt if anyone has their entire library online, although if you do, link away
I've sifted through MS and found a few goodies but replacing so much media is difficult at best.
So if anyone is willing to burn large chunks of their collections to dvd and snail mail it, I'd be more than happy to paypal the shipping costs and a little gas money for your trouble or something. I know this is a little unorthodox but you know what they say about desperate times.
My collection was mostly house and old school trance -
Digweed, sander, desyn, james zabiela, holden, old school ferry and oakenfold, luke fair, that sort of thing. Luckily I have my ~20gigs of sasha backed up on a friend's machine so I don't need any really.
