it's really weird that 4chan has been featured quite a bit in the media, wsj, time, guardian, maxim, and now the times.
word is moot, the owner of 4chan gave all a fake name as his real name, an inside joke for the /b/tards: christopher poole - CP for child porn, christopher for chris (chris hansen), and pool's closed a joke about how pools get closed because of aids. i dont really get all those, i have a friend whos a big time channer and he keeps telling me all this crazy shit... batshit insane, they make [ms] seem like newborn play.
oh one more thing, my friend tells me the older users of 4chan are pissed that its all over the media, i guess one of their rules is to not talk about 4chan (copied from fight club haha)

lots of it is really funny - i get really irked by the racial homophobic stuff - shame they couldn't have mentioned the project chanology stuff - which while floundering has at least got good intentions.
