    Way Out West Live

The "band" is touring the states shortly, and are coming to my fair town for some reason. Has anyone seen these guys live? I'm not sure what to expect, but I'm definitly looking forward to this!

Eccentricbeats posted this on a local forum:

"For the first time in their career, U.K. electronic artists WAY OUT WEST (WOW) will grace stages across North America with a full band line-up on the support tour for their new album DON?T LOOK NOW, released earlier this month on Distinct?ive Records. Joining JODY WISTERNOFF (keyboards) and NICK WARREN (keyboards) is WOW?s newest member, OMI (vocals), along with drummer Damon Reece (Spiritualized, Massive Attack, Echo & The Bunnymen) and bassist Joe Allen (Roni Size, Alison Moyet)" - MSO

Sounds like it should be an interesting show!

sure, just hope you can tell one song from the other.

they have some good tracks.. Intensify pt 1 and the peace division mix.. other than that.. all sounds the same to me.

mention to them they need to stop in atlanta too.
dont think we're on the tour list.

we aren't on the list Steve. i guess no one in Atlanta wanted to pick up the tour.

                it sucks.

expect a great show though. i drove to NYC in May to see them perform (but without the drummer and bassplayer) and it was great.

love way out west but they weren't too impressive when they did a live pa show in la a couple of months back. maybe they've fixed all the bugs and will come out on fire. they definitely don't compare to hybrid live.

supreme beings of leisure are killer in chill out. i'm assuming they'll do something pretty groovey and a little more upbeat than what they normally do.

Yep, when they were here in Toronto a few months back they were ok but not on fire. They had the crowd listening and bopping along but that was about it. Guess it was because the album was laid-back?

Warren did a dj set after though and had the crowd going off.

I saw them here in Brisbane last sunday, they were supporting Faithless. They did a great consert. Only played an hour with mostly tunes from Dont Look Now, but also a couple of old goodies like Mindcircus. I LOVE the new album so i thought just that one hour of WOW was worth the ticket even tho Faithless was the main act. WOW is a must see if u get teh chance.
Jody was joining the crowd and dancing like a maniac when Faitless was playing, checking up all the chicks lol.

yep same here, i thoroughly enjoyed wow, but couldnt compare with the energy and awesomeness of faithless. They played all their usuals like Killa, The Fall and Mindcircus, however ave tune of theirs played was probably Apollo, was radical live. For some reason i would expect Hybrid to be better live though, maybe cos the way out west singer annoys me.
