Re: Ok
tbh i,ve only used logic one time and that was way way way back in 2001, i didnt like it so never went back to it and i only use pc's so obviously logic isnt my main option but if u try going to the prefferences window ( if thats what its called on a mac ) then there may be something that lets you find out where your vst's are installed
if you also try to reinstall one of your plug ins then it should let you choose a folder, in all honestly this should be the standard folder where most of your plug ins are kept
dont quote me on this though as i,ve never used a mac in my entire lifeComment

Re: Ok
Take a look at this : http://logic-users.org/forums/LUG/thread/102123
The topic isn´t originally about the type of stuff you´re asking but I believe the explanations may be useful to you.
And anyway, I guess the LUG is the best place to sort out all your doubts about Logic, so I´m sure that with a bit of searching you´ll find the info you need there.Comment

Re: Ok
^^I've tried that site...I've tried everywhere....Every site tells me to "open the plugin in Logic".......I don't even know how to do that and no site tells of how to do that...That's where I'm lost...
I downloaded "Crystal" plugin for Logic and I put it in the "Components" folder in "Library>Audio>Plugins" but I don't know what to do to open it up in Logic...I've tried Opening Logic and clicking on the little grey box to bring up plugins but "Crystal" doesn't show up in my list of plugins...Do I have the plugin in the wrong folder or what else should I do?? If I have to type the word plugins one more time I'm gonna lose my fucking mind!!Comment

Re: Ok
Damn, dude...
Well, have you checked this one?
Big Blue Lounge is supposed to be a pretty good forum... I see they´ve got a topic just for youtube "how to" videos on Logic...Comment
