I normally wouldn't give a damn about the opening ceremony, but this one was pretty amazing. The performances were amazing. Even Costas told Lauer that it exceeded expectations and openings aren't like this at all.

The whole drums display they had a the beginning was really well done.The count down was really awesome as well.

V Impressive for sure. Kind of feel for them as the next day that nutter attacked the two Americans and then killed himself. Obv this has no direct reflection on the country or the games but it is bad publicity nevertheless..
