wow...took me a while to catch up on this thread!! sounds like this was a legendary experience! wish I could've made it...alas, relocation/logistical challenges for my new job made it impossible this year. perhaps next time...

Holy shit. I think my brain is finally running around 70 or 80 percent efficiency.

I would like to thank everyone for the hospitality down in Florida-- especially the cats in the hard hats (though I still don't claim to understand... maybe that's for the best). It was great meeting everyone that showed up.

I am still a scarred man living with the knowledge that one of the greatest live sets I've ever heard has been somehow lost in an age when all things digital exist perpetually. I guess that just gives me another reason to make another effort to see Superstar DJ Steve James lay down an extended session.

You didn't hear? Someone had the "Output" cable from the mixer in the input/receive instead of output/send. 20+ hours of static hiss...Great.

I just wanted to thank Cookie for his hospitality, Hafid for the invite, and everyone else at Sunday's BBQ for the positive vibe. I've been away from home for some time now, but Sunday it felt as if I never left and that means a lot to me, guys. The only thing better than good music is its result.....friendship and the feeling of family. Much love and respect to FSM crew for the accommodations and a newly developed sense of respect and love for the MS crew who blessed Pensacola with their presence and untouchable beats. It was nice meeting all of you and I will make sure that next time there is a MS gathering, I will be there. If the bass lines you guys throw down were crack, I'd need a sponsor and a meeting right about now! I hope to catch the full venue on the next track. Until then, take care of yourselves and try not to knock our planet off its axis!

truer words have never been spoken, the whole entire weekend I think everyone wanted to just lookout for everyone else, never really caring for themselves. Mindy, for example, drove Alvaro, a third person (who not amazingly I dont remember, I think it was Tim), and me, all the way to the beach to our Hotel which was the totally opposite direction she lives in and that too all of us were so out of it at like 4:00 am. But she trooped it out for us. My sincere thanks for that Mindy.

I wanna thank Emilie for putting up with us on Thursday night and both Megan and Emilie for driving us from the Airport. Emilie was a trooper with Jib, she stood by the booth ALL NIGHT for as long as Jib was spinning, just getting him beers and waters.... while not directly, she was a HUGE contribution to ensure the quality of the music was being delivered

That's what makes this weekend so memorable.

I also wanna thank Jamey for being the sole trooper responsible for lugging our asses around. He's done many a trip back and forth to and from the after party. Thanks man. Next case of beers is on me.

That was my mistake, I was too out of it and I should have been there/more coherent to help Jiby set it up and they couldn't get it to work . But the funny part it, to this day, I dont know how / when my laptop came out of the bag, to the party, and back to the hotel room, unscathed and intact and I had NOTHING to do with it. Just another example of folks honoring/taking care of you.
