They almost always are bro. That's why it helps to live in a House with no neighbors right up against you. LOL.
i have an very old guy next door, i thought buying a set of hd650's would of solved the problem but it doesnt as its more or less impossible for me to mix on headphones. when u put it onto speakers everything sounds out of sort and u have to start all over again
thought about buying a decent headphone amp and allsorts but it then means i have to watch the input of high frequencies, i cant win lol
does he ever leave? you might wanna think about getting some of those acoustic foam treatments. I'm gonna get me some when I have some expendable cash.

he does leave yea but i kind of feel a bit guilty of the way i used to blair my music all the time lol and now i have more powerfull speakers so i try not to make it loud if i can get away with it, the reason i bought a decent set of speakers was so i could use them at low levels and still get clarity which is great but when u get into it like u do u slowly see the volume going gradually up
theres a 2 brick thickness seperating us and thats it, not even sure if there is a gap between them.
i thought about doing something like the foam treetments also but then i remembered the small studio they had in my college when i was there, its kind of professionally thought tou with gaps and foam to stop sound etc and glass sliding doors etc etc, even with the doors closed you could hear someone drop a pin from the inside when u were outside lol so i,m not wasting a few grand on trying to soundproof a room that hopefully i should be moving out of soon anyway
