Release Info:
Colombia based record label Progrezo Records teams up with the Groovecollection team to deliver the digital goodies to a worldwide audience. First action is the release of Progrezo’s LE series 013 with Hungarian Lank providing his twisted beats and rhythms.
First up is “Twisted Situation” which is already featured on a mix compilation by New-York based club Sullivan Room. The track kicks off with some sort of jet engine in the background, typical clicky percussion and a nice laidback beat. But things change on the way resulting in an energetic builder with funky stabs, a deep grooving bass and a killer of a breakdown. This tune is somewhere in the middle of oldskool driving progressive and the techy newness of today.
Second track “Jellyfish” follows a more laidback path and is plain, driving progressive. Just like the old days, but never sounding dated… Trancy synth stabs create a floating sphere while the deep and dark bass keeps a strong foundation.

Hernan Cattaneo: jellyfish sounds very good.
Randall Jones: Jellyfish is amazing and so is the other tune. Will be playing these bigtime in my sets worldwide.
