Good, mate! there´s plenty of good music out there, somewhere. And there is more and more every year, and I believe it gets to you when you are opened to it. I´ve been late to Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, Genesis and many more... but I remember I coudn´t stand their music (not even a 6 minute song) back in my teenager years.
Elvis Costello in his memories tells that he got nuts when he was introduced to his father-in-law´s record collection... he couldn´t believe all the excellent music recorded at the beggining of the vinyl era... His opinion is that you don´t need to be up to date in music, but to dig in the past.
