Original | Ned Hobbs Remix
After laying dormant since last December, Toes awakens from its long slumber. And what more appropriate release to be reborn with than "Phoenix" by one of our favorite producers, Arthur Deep. "Phoenix" takes us back to where we started, to the deep progressive breaks of our early releases. Arthur's melodic breakbeat masterpiece is paired with a hypnotic four-on-the-floor gem by rising talent Ned Hobbs, whose stellar releases on Feralcode Records have quickly made a name for him.
"Lovely stuff, both mixes are nice." Andy Moor
"Another top release from Arthur. He's been killing it recently! Love the quality of this package." Matt Rowan
"The original has to be one of the most beautiful breaks tunes I've heard in a long long time." Arjun (Jalebee Cartel)
"The original by Arthur Deep is excellent! Nice breakbeat, deep rolling bass, and a soothing atmosphere that progressive breaks should have, imo. Ned Hobbs contributes a nice 4/4 mix that hits well in most places, but I've been longing for good breakbeat since so little is out there. The original's in my bag!" Royal Sapien
"Arthur is one of my favs right now...great EP...original mix for me is best." DJ Samer (Pangea)
"I like the original breaks track a lot, this guy always creates a nice story in his music! 8.5/10" The Mystic Force (Rotationz Radio)
"Original mix: Classic breaks with a lovely positive melody to it. I love to listen to the real stuff like this! Ned Hobbs Remix: Love the percussion in this one, especially the part after the break where the ride comes in really adds something to the track. Good usage of strings here!" Nick Hogendoorn
"I'm truly thrilled to finally get a new release from you Great release again. Each track has a really cool atmosphere, perfect for the summer." Pieter Dewagter (Rotationz Radio)
"The original mix is pretty awesome. Really subtle silky-smooth breaks, just the way I like it. Arthur Deep is on a roll lately." Darin Epsilon
"Totally in love with the remix from Ned Hobbs. It shall be the second track of my set this week." Guillaume Nyckees (Galaxie 95.3 FM France)
"mmm what a comeback indeed. I love Arthur Deep!" Jay Epoch (Proton Radio)
"Finally, new quality stuff from Toes In The Sand! Love Arthur Deeps works. Amazing prog breaks track! Melody rocks " DJ SLanG (PROGrance Radio)
