there is an Island Party in Tampa.. I know of something at Laundry Bar and Blue in south beach though..

if you're looking for any sort of real techno or minimal sound, talk to Ivan at Sobebeats or the guys at Dirty Gruv. These guys put on some good locals, but also some real talent like Anja Schneider, Falko Brocksieper, Matt Tolfrey, Ryan Crosson... not sure what they'll be up to over Labor Day, but if anything else is up these folks would know. They seem to be about the only hope for real music in that town, imo (outside of the music festival).

man, i don't see why sanchez wouldn't be a good time. he's one of the last few respectable house dj's left. (if it's a space, forget it, i wouldn't go see anyone there...)

^not space but Mansion...another club I try to avoid nowadays...nothing against roger sanchez, I've just been spoiled by super sic dj's being in San Diego every weekend...

I'm going to see Roger Sanchez and he puts on a good show. Only other decent show I know of is Austin Leeds is playing at Gryphon at the Hard Rock that same Saturday. Hopefully some decent pool parties on Sunday. I agree it's a pretty weak Labor day weekend besides Sanchez.

Steve Bug is the 30th, but not in Miami... the other one is the 29th.
