there was a report on the french news recently that basically said the same thing as this article - drunk english generally pissing everyone off in Nice.

As far as I'm aware, we've always been the worst behaved on holidays. I'm usually embarrased by fellow Brits abroad and tend to avoid them at all costs. Having said that, the kind of places I've been on holiday (India, Croatia, Malaysia etc..) are not the places these morons go. They prefer places near the Med where they can read all the signs and shout at the locals. These places are getting a battering form ignorant fucks, and I'm not suprised the locals are getting pissed off. Before tourism hit them they lived in a nice, quiet seaside town and now for 4 or 5 months of the year they have to put up with drunken tossers wandering about ebing obnoxious.

Having said that, views like this are just ignorant:
