erm, i,ll get back to u on that one, infact fuck it, erm ermI was not going to get into this thread but just want to note a couple of things.
1) If you look at what Shiva wears when she dj's you can see its hardly what you would call "Portia BareBoobs" (or whatever she's called) material. Shiva's almost always dressed in very conservative attire...a long sleeve sweatshirt (usually Sudam) and long pants...now red1 would you call that using her sex appeal to attract a crowd?? Hardly so. And hell, you'll have to forgive her for wearing something a *little* more comfortable when she's spinning during the day on the beach...it must only be 293930 degrees out there!
2) What do you mean people with "looks" are pushing out people with "talent"?!?! You must be KIDDING if you really think looks would supersede a DJ's skill??? I mean half the time you can barely see into the DJ booth so what do looks matter? Even if a DJ is good looking, if they suck, they will go down. I'll just give you a small example...my ex-gf initially really got into Sasha because he was good-looking...and she liked his music. But then when he started to suck (and that happened shortly after she got into the scene), she quickly lost interest in him - guess why, not because he got any less attractive, but because his music started to suck. So IMO saying a DJ is successful soley based on looks is completely off the mark.

^ those are examples of style imo, the photo's are shot with erm style in mind, they appeal to loads of people for obvious reasons, kind of a port folio or what ever, i dont know shit about it so i,m just spouting my own opinion.
^ sorry lori, but imo those are just plain perverted, the first 2 sudjest to male mind ( wheather they be a REAL MAN or a kid as u put it thats there is someting deeper going to happen ) there is so much sex ouzing out of those that a male mind would go into overdrive, i think the comment on the last picture said it all " the mistress has a flat " hmmmm .....imo thats prime example of using sex to sell yourself...hay maybe its just the way i think but @least i,m honest and i,m guessing that 99% of the male population of this board thought the same but dont have the guts to admit it. ts not exactly getting them out behind the decks but a picture speaks a thousand words

The point is Red, Shiva is modeling in those photos. She is selling her modeling talent, not her J Djing talent. and certainly not herself! . What she has tried endlessly to get through to you in particular, is that she has two careers. Her music career is treated totally differently! Those photos are NOT to promote that. And before you jump on why they are on a music forum. I see this forum like going to a friend's house and chatting about anything and everything not just the house.
And flicking through the photo album is sometimes part of that, Shiva just has prettier photos I think we are lucky when members share parts of their lives. But I don't think it gives us the right to judge them. [unless they are stealing music ]
