Paul Oakenfold is stepping up his status as a superstar DJ, by announcing a residency in Las Vegas.
The Croydon jock will play a 26-date stretch at the kitsch capital's premier superclub venue Rain.
'The night is called Planet Perfecto and the DJ booth is the control tower, the Starship Enterprise,' he said of the residency.
'And musically we go to different worlds. I want to make it a big show like all the big singers have done. It's not just a DJ set.
'There is nowhere in America other than Las Vegas that I would want to be a resident DJ. It is the world's oyster, and the Perfecto nights at Rain are going to take clubbing to a whole new level.'
Seemingly Oakey has production devised by the creative minds behind stage shows for the likes of Pink Floyd and Gwen Stefani, while the club itself boasts 'sky boxes' and 'sensuous water booths'.
