well he abandoned vinyl (along with 99.9% of other djs, the notable exceptions being sven vath & danny howells) years ago.

and its funny he is now ditching cds, cause in the recent beatport inteview he did with sasha a couple months ago...essentially saying that while sasha had switched, he would stay with cds as he is not the most interactive guy behind the decks as it is. wonder what made him change his mind...

i am really leaning towards going to serato, as i am really getting tired of burning cds all the time. i can't imagine digweed being the one to burn his tunes, though.

interesting! will have to keep it in mind. one of the main reasons i'm leaning towards serato is that the vast majority of local djs here use it, so when one takes over the decks from the other the only options other than cds is serato (being that i don't think you can change between traktor and serato while playing live). but i suppose this is for another thread...

Man I LOVE the first half of the CD, the sounds are so complex and quirky. Especially Beautiful Strange. Was listening to this on the train and reading, almost had to put down my magazine.

We should just create an album and pool the pictures. I tried doing it in [ms] gallery but then wasn't sure if it would allow other forumers to upload pics.

Should we try this in flickr? Create a flickr group?

I was wondering how to do it myself. Creating a thread would be easy and would allow users to upload their own artwork, but would be difficult to organize. Maybe we could set it up like the tracklistings threads; by artist, by year, or by alphabetical album titles. I'll ask the mods what they think the best way to do it would be (if we did it on the board). The flickr account would be cool too, but can it be made public so users can upload their own art.?

Yup, if we set up a Flickr group, anyone with a Flickr account can join and upload/share pics.

But I don't know if a flickr group allows for different ways to sort/categorise, they do allow tagging of pics.
