    how does it feel knowing you'll have to face him in a yankees uniform next year?? (assuming he is traded)

    who's your daddy!?
    There's no chance in hell for Pedro to be in a yankee uniform next year...

      ^ i think you are right now that Boston finally beat the yanks in the playoffs, BUT we know steinbrenner has an unlimited checkbook and it definitely isn't impossible for that to happen. shit, i could see that greedy fucker try to pay roger to come back to the yanks too.

      steinbrenner = too fucking rich
      Should I fuck you at that not until the ass, inject then tremendously hard bumschen and to the termination in the eyes yes?

          Why didn't you just respond to that thread, to the original person who said you're a pussy, ahem, excuse me, the sox are pussies, rather than creating a new related thread, thereby opening a new can of worms for yourself? Nice one.

                  for the series at hand i would have to say that i am happy with the beginning of the series.. Please people do not tempt this curse.. it is ... it will probably go to 7 games but the curse is real... Wierd things have happened in the past and are happening now if u haven't noticed.. Why are the Sox making so many god damn errors.. 8 in 2 games?? that is bizare for a professional team that has come this far... I am definetly going for the Sox don't get me wrong... But it isn't over til it's over.. Watch the curse in action.. I have this gut feeling though that Boston will lose only because of the sudden bad fielding by the Sox... But on the other hand it is better to be up 2-0 on the curse then 0-2... .. So GO RED SOX!!

                      Green Socks got in the bag. The Cards have been nothing but disapointing. I am sorry Jenks, they need to get the ball rolling. Was it too cold for them? Was the park floating with legends?

                      Get it together Cards You fucking I can not hit a ball over a small fence team.

                        Re: So The Sox are pussies eh

                        Listening to some of the morons calling up the local sports radio shows, you'd think we had already won the whole thing!

                        These next few games (well, hopefully only 2) are going to be a battle. The Cards are lights out at home, and the fans there are just as rabid as Boston fans. You know that the bats are going to come alive - their batting avg. is something like 100 points higher at home - and a quality start from Suppan could send them through to the 7th or 8th and keep their battered bullpen (see: Tavares) off the mound. What scares me the most is that we haven't seen StL play the kind of smallball that got them to the Series. If they put up an early lead in these home games, they are going to be tough to keep up with. By the same token though, I can't seen Mueller or Bellhorn continue stacking up the errors - they're too good in the field for that to go on. ManRam in left and Ortiz at first....well that's another story.

                        I pulling for the Sox all the way of course, but we probably won't see the same StL team we saw in Boston. Should be a stormer!

                          Agree completely, however the reality is Suppan is not going to throw a gem tonight. I could be sticking my foot in my mouth and trust me, I'm knocking on wood, but ideally for the cardinals he will go 7 strong only giving up 3 to 4. On the flip side, the cards bats will be a whole different story in St. Louis. I'm hoping we see the old Pedro and he throws the gem, but who knows. I think this game will be the difference maker for both teams. Can't wait for tonight - GO SOX.

                            i was at the NLCS game in stl when it was 35 degrees F. weather wasn't the problem.

                            as for legends...STL has more legends in their history than boston could put in one sock.

                            Fact is, boston has better pitching, and we're not capitalizing on their errors, or our opportunities. Game 1, 7th inning, we had bases loaded with one out, and didn't score 1 fucking run...we lost the game right there. 8 errors already in 2 games? and we have not won. Busch Stadium will be a different story. Go Cards!

                                ^Not being arrogant. Maybe a little more than one sock for Boston. Facts are facts...the Yanks and Cards are the two most storied legendary teams in baseball. The Yanks, holy fuck, can't even begin to compete with what they did in the 1900's, but saying that, there isn't a team other than the yanks that can compare to what the Cards accomplished in that time too.

                                History. Boston has plenty of it, not taking anything away from them...it's just a ridiculous statement to say the Cards are in awe of Boston's legends in some way.
