ohhh, will try...eventually. i saw a pumpkin ale in the store this past weekend, from a local brewery (ofallon pumpkin ale) which is the best i've had of that type in the past years, but and i'm not quite ready for it yet. it's not even october, i still have bell's oberon in the fridge.

guys the double bock is probably the most malty of all beer types, extremely strong, and sweet and ver little bitter. it comes from the "left over" of a lager brew. sam floats thier content at about 8.5%, but smoe others, like celebrator are over 10%

this is a love it or hate it beer. think of a coal porter, but about 5X the sweetness.

Tell you what, dude, I'm ready for it. It's as if Labor Day hit and Mother Nature's St. Louis satellite office said, "OK, we're going with autumn now," and we've completely embraced it. I've started buying cider, FFS.

that o'fallon pumpkin is good stuff, btw -- better than the harvest, IMO (although the harvest is quite good).
