Well the Pumpkin Ale sure was smooth, like really smooth. I enjoyed the spices they used in it as well. I observed that as my drunk was dissipating, i felt a sense of serene glowing clarity, don't get that much. Good stuff this was.

What did you think?

I think I've had that Celebrator a while back. I know I've seen it in the stores. Does the bottle come with some kind of like red tag thing on it also? I seem to remember that on there for some reason.

I haven't tried that pumpkin ale, but they did have a pumpkin ale at the local World Market where you go in Columbus to buy really good beer. I got one just to taste it and could taste NO pumpkin in it at all. Oh man what a bummer. Perhaps this one is a lot better, but it's gonna be really hard to drag me away from my Lindemans.

I love this also, it is GREAT. It is hard to find though. A german bar downtown has this on tap (most of the time).

Harvest Moon and Sam Adam's Oktoberfest are both excellent beers. I just found cases of Oktoberfest at Costco for $20 so I bought two. Last year in Charleston every store was sold out by mid-October.

this thread is getting me so pumped up for the oyster fest here in oysterbay long island. its the kickoff of octoberfest and all the great bars and breweries come to the party and you get shitfaced on the streets off nothing but unbeleivable microbrews.

last year, my roommates little brother was found sleeping behind a statute of Mary (mother of god from bible) at a church around 1pm.

gots to love the dunkel! spent about 4 months in germany over the past 2 years and had many of the locals, including this one

i am sooo lucky to have a store down the road that has almost every beer in this thread (including the fore mentioned). people who visit from out of town call it the beer musuem. i cannot move from here!

if you ever see franziskaner give it a go ... my fav hefe and dunkel in the world!

they have this brewery stocked at the store across the street from me, but i dont think they have the dunkel. i will have to double check, if they do i will for sure check it out.
