It is amazing how psytrance carries on, no matter what country I am in, how remote, someone is always throwing a psy trance party, The fans are dedicated I will give them that.

well i know a lot of you dont like psy music and its not my first choice too but the Aurora Festival i went a couple of weeks ago was amazing!!! 5 days full of music, nature and emotions!!
good experience!!

Psy trance is awesome!! Relentless,driving, and mind-bending. I'm not into it as much as I used to be, but I still love it!

One of the best shows was Infected Mushroom at Arc, NYC. Mr Kamal was there too - he can attest to that night.

We have a few wicked psy festivals over here, your right, the stuff is everywhere!

Went to glade a few months ago, 3 days / nights of psy as well as pretty much every other dance genre covered. The atmosphere at the outdoor psy stage is awesome, midday or midnight...

Waveform festival this weekend, i think its going to rain though

Although the psy music is not really my cup of tea coz too high bpms for my ears, I really admire their spirit. They always manage to do parties that are different than the usual concerts; They always manage to involved nature and spirituality in their themes...
The psy community really have a world of their own in the EDM spectrum that is like no other.
As far a music and lineup are concerned, my progressive sound is really much below the beat they expect to hear from a dj, but still they insisted on having me on board and I am appreciating that very much.
Since it is becoming a habit for me to post vids & pix about parties on MS, i will do the same with this one as well...

^^ its not always high bpms.. where i went they were playing like that during the night, but from 7am till 9pm they were playing nice progressive with mysterious psy sounds!
best example from the festival is that:

that was round 11.30 in the morning and super amaaaaaaaaaaziiiiing!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah, the psychedelic sound covers all sorts of bpms really... heard some amazing psy-breaks from a dj called slack baba, really twisted sounds, great stuff.

Love psyprog....have to do a bit of digging to put together a decent amount of tunes that fall under this category but when complete the effect is very nice.

Yeah, there's a lot of ambient psy out there as well that is great. My only experience with a psy "festival" was in South Africa...they had one centered around the total solar eclipse in, I think 2002 November. It was out in the bush (near a national park actually), and was definitely a once in a lifetime experience. Of course, it was hot and sunny on all days EXCEPT the day of the eclipse! lol go figure. But it was still amazing...slowly it became darker and darker and darker till it became pitch black (well, like night), and birds stop singing. The DJ actually timed it pretty well too - came into a breakdown just as it turned dark.
